Work has begun on the Cape Cinema project in Dennis. The project is part of an upcoming larger capital campaign project for The Cape Cinema, which is owned by the Cape Cod Center for the Arts, Inc. – a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Stewart Painting is donating the hand scraping and painting of the historical cupola on the building which is valued at $2400. The Cape Cod Center for the Arts owns both the Cape Playhouse and the Cape Cinema, and produces the Playhouse professional summer stock season. Eric Hart is the longtime lessee and operator of the Cinema.
