Sheldon Stewart, President of Stewart Painting, Inc, in Hyannis, is pleased to announce their recent partnership with the Cape & Islands United Way. As part of Stewart Painting’s ongoing commitment to the Cape Cod community, they have decided that for each power wash completed in 2015, they will donate $10 to the Cape & Islands United Way.
“We are so pleased to welcome Stewart Painting as a Rising Tide Business Partner,” said Barbara Milligan, President and CEO of the Cape and Islands United Way. “By joining together, we make a real difference in our local communities – it’s a win-win for both of us. We’ll be able to put the Stewart Painting contributions right to work to address critical human needs and have a lasting impact.”
“Every year the number of donation requests we receive from local nonprofits continues to rise – we’d love to be in a position to help everyone one of them,” said Sheldon Stewart. “Unfortunately, we can’t give to everyone. We saw the Cape and Islands United Way as an opportunity to combine our donation with those of other local businesses and really leverage the impact that we have on our community. When we looked at the nonprofit partners that the Cape and Islands United Way has – it was many of the same groups requesting donations from us. It just made sense for us to combine forces.”
