We are pleased to announce that our Hyannis office will be a drop-off location for non-perishable food items for The Family Pantry of Cape Cod throughout 2018.
“We realize that hunger on Cape Cod is a big problem and one that is year-round,” said Sheldon Stewart, President of Stewart Painting. “Rather than jump on a bandwagon around the holidays, we made a conscious decision to be a part of the solution year-round. The recent expansion of our Hyannis office space gave us the breathing room to allow a dedicated area for year-round collection. We are pleased to be working with The Family Pantry that provides food and services to our neighbors throughout Cape Cod.”
“It is hard to believe that on beautiful Cape Cod, people go hungry; yet, one in ten of our neighbors do, primarily due to the seasonal nature of the Cape,” said Christine Menard, Executive Director of The Family Pantry of Cape Cod. “Our mission is to provide food and clothing for those in need. We can only do this by partnering with great organizations across the Cape community like Stewart Painting.”
Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at Stewart Painting at 379 Iyannough Road (Route 28) in Hyannis, behind the Eastern Bank across from the airport, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
